Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Deanna Woodroffe, WHNP, is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder and owner of Vibrant Health of Colorado. She is driven by a strong commitment to helping her patients achieve and sustain truly vibrant health.
Bringing almost 20 years of experience to her practice, Deanna has focused on bio-identical hormones throughout her professional journey. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University and completed her Master of Nursing at the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Before establishing her practice in Denver, Deanna served the St. Louis, MO, community for 14 years.
Early on, Deanna grew increasingly dissatisfied with the restrictions of conventional medicine when treating persistent patient and personal health issues. This frustration inspired her to delve into the study of functional and integrative medicine. In 2012, she successfully completed a fellowship in Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Today, Deanna employs a comprehensive functional medicine approach to help patients overcome chronic symptoms and restore their well-being. Rather than merely addressing symptoms, she zeroes in on identifying and correcting the root causes of imbalance. Her therapeutic tools include bio-identical hormone therapy (including pellet therapy), nutrition, thyroid optimization, and cutting-edge medical advancements to bring the body back into balance.
Deanna’s clinical expertise encompasses all stages of women’s health, from adolescence through menopause. This includes annual well-woman exams, contraception management, STI testing, addressing sexual dysfunction, and hormone optimization. She also specializes in optimizing hormone levels for men.
A dedicated healthcare advocate, Deanna believes strongly in improving the quality of life for those with chronic conditions. You will often find her speaking publicly and educating communities on effective strategies for wellness and achieving optimal health.
When she’s not helping patients, Deanna enjoys spending time with her two adult daughters. Her personal interests include travel, reading, attending live music events, scuba diving, and hiking and exploring the Colorado mountains.
